Bolesworth Estate has several very popular visitor attractions:

Bolesworth Showjumping Classic

The centrepiece of our outdoor events at Bolesworth Classic held in the grounds of Bolesworth Castle.  This showpiece event provides fun and entertainment for all the family.  As well as four days of the very best showjumping in the UK the event also has fun and activities for all the family from raft races throught to dog agility, face painting to wow balls, we really do have it all at Bolesworth.

Ice Cream Farm

Tattenhall is home to the famous Cheshire Farm Ice Cream which has been produced at Drumlan Hall Farm by the Fell family since 1980. The facility has recently been refurbished and extended and now boasts a wealth of things to do for all the family including a play barn, crazy golf, quad bike track, children’s maze, animal attractions and of course the famous (and delicious) Cheshire Farm Ice Cream. www.cheshirefarmicecream.co.uk.

Cheshire Workshops

Cheshire Workshops is famous for its candle making and visitors can see and experience this traditional craft and have a go themselves at making a candle. This popular visitor attraction also has a series of craft workshops, a penny arcade and a restaurant with one of the best views in Cheshire. www.cheshireworkshops.co.uk.

Mountain Boarding

The Superbole is one of the UK’s most exciting extreme sports venues. In the search for innovative and different uses for the land, Bolesworth Estate together with its tenant partner developed a mountain boarding centre in Harthill. Mountain boarding is snowboarding with wheels and is popular with teenagers in particular. The centre has top class facilities including jib park, fourcross downhill track and now also has a downhill mountain bike facility www.halesuperbole.co.uk.

Off Road Motor Cycle Training

Bolesworth Estate is proud to have developed a working relationship with one of the UK’s most respected off-road motor cycling riders Patsy Quick who set runs Desert Rose Riding Academy and provides specialist training for people having been inspired by the likes of Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman and who are now looking to take their motorbike on off road adventures. Desert Rose provides one-to-one tuition and utilises some of the more hidden and challenging parts of the terrain found on Bolesworth Estate. www.adventureridingacademy.com.

Mickerloo Arts

Mickerloo Arts is Cheshire's latest contemporary art gallery, workshops and café. Set in the stunning Cheshire countryside along the Sandstone Trail, you will find a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in which to view work of the highest quality, further enhanced by the magnificent views through the glass walled Gallery. www.mickerloo-arts.co.uk.

Harthill Fisheries

Fishing is one of Britain’s biggest participation sports and the Bolesworth Estate has one of the most picturesque and well-stocked estate waters in the North West of England. Harthill Fisheries nestles in a valley called ‘The Coombs’ which provides a tranquil and natural fishing environment. The four pools, stocked with carp, tench, perch, bream, roach and rudd, are surrounded by trees and all pegs offer excellent fishing. Harthill Fisheries offers leisure and match-fishing and has a lunch hut, toilet facilities and good access.
