TATTENHALL CARE VILLAGE GRANTED PLANNING PERMISSION

 

Plans for a Care Village on the outskirts of Tattenhall have been granted planning consent by Cheshire West and Chester Council.

The development which will provide a variety of accommodation and care options for those over the age of 65 is a partnership between local landowner Bolesworth Estate and Seddon Homes.

The scheme includes a 36 bed care facility, a wellness spa and a host of on-site community facilities which will provide valuable local employment.  The scheme also provides for 20 affordable properties which will be available for local residents over 65.

Matthew Morris, Estate Manager at Bolesworth Estate said;  “we are delighted that planning permission has finally been granted for this exciting development.  The number of over 65’s is set to double in the next 20 years and this scheme will provide much needed choice and important care facilities in the Tattenhall area”

It is hoped that construction work will commence later this year, with the first building phase scheduled to last approximately 18 months.
